Book Souls

Prepare To Read. It is an age of adventure and danger. In your quest for knowledge, you make your way to the Kingdom of Remboîtage. In the village, you learn about the local castle, where a wise and powerful wizard has his sanctum… and that there is a treasure in the dungeon guarded by a fearsome monster. Ignoring warnings of the beast, you set forth into the dark dungeons. This is a sponsored collaboration video between Ellis Library at Mizzou, and the Bibliographical Society of America. It is a parody of Dark Souls (a medieval fantasy game), where the player (viewer) must overcome hardship by improving their skills. Made in Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine 5, and The Adobe Creative Cloud.
